Can I Edit a Form After Publishing?

   Understand why controls look locked

   Once a form is published, its design and settings controls lock — a greyed-out toggle that doesn't respond to clicks is expected, not a bug.

   Unpublish to unlock editing

   Use the Publish toggle in the top bar to turn publishing off.

   Make your changes

   With the form unpublished, edit anything — design, adding/removing/reordering questions, or settings toggles.

   Republish

   Toggle Publish back on to make the form live again with your changes.

   Know what happens in between

   Unpublishing doesn't delete or hide existing responses — it only stops new submissions while you're mid-edit. The form's link (same slug) doesn't change, so you don't need to reshare it after republishing.

Will I lose my existing responses if I unpublish?

No. Unpublishing only pauses new submissions — responses already collected stay exactly as they are.

Do I need to send a new link after I republish?

No. The link and slug stay the same before and after — the same link works again as soon as you republish.
