How to Track Where Your Responses Are Coming From (Pro)

Last updated 2026-08-04

Add UTM source, medium, and campaign parameters to your form's shareable link from the Share panel — available on every plan. On Pro, the form's Analytics page then breaks responses down by UTM source and campaign, showing which tagged link actually drove submissions.

  1. 1

    Build a tagged link

Open the Share panel for your form and add UTM source, medium, and campaign parameters to the shareable link. This works on every plan — it just builds a tagged URL.

  2. 2

Use a different tag per channel

Create a separately tagged link for each place you share the form — for example your newsletter, a LinkedIn post, and a paid ad — instead of sharing one plain link everywhere.

  3. 3

    Share the tagged links

Distribute each tagged link through its intended channel.

  4. 4

    Review the breakdown (Pro)

On Pro, open the form's Analytics page for a breakdown of responses by UTM source and campaign, so you can see which tagged link actually drove submissions rather than just clicks.

  5. 5

    Compare and adjust

Use the breakdown to see which source or campaign converts best, then put more effort into what's working.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need Pro to add UTM parameters to my link?
No — building a tagged share link with UTM parameters works on every plan. The source/campaign breakdown on the Analytics page is the Pro-only part.
What if I forget to tag a link before sharing it?
Responses from an untagged link won't show up in the source/campaign breakdown the way a tagged one would. Build the tagged link before you share it in each channel.
