How to Connect a Custom Domain to Your Forms (Pro)
Last updated 2026-08-04
On the Pro plan, add your domain in Settings → Custom domain, then create the DNS record SiliForm gives you at your domain provider. Once verified, your forms are reachable at https://yourdomain.com/{form-link} instead of the default siliform.ai URL.
- 1
Open Custom domain settings
Go to Settings and find the Custom domain section (“Serve your forms from your own domain, like forms.yourcompany.com”). Free plan accounts see “Custom domains are available on the Pro plan” with an Upgrade to Pro link instead of the input.
- 2
Enter your domain and connect
Type the domain you want to use, e.g. forms.yourcompany.com, into the field and click Connect.
- 3
Add the DNS record
SiliForm shows a DNS record (type, name, value, with a one-click copy button) plus additional verification records. Add these at whichever service manages your domain's DNS — your registrar or DNS host, not SiliForm.
- 4
Wait for verification
The status badge shows “Pending DNS” (amber clock icon) until the record is detected — DNS changes can take a few minutes to propagate. Use the refresh button to manually re-check instead of waiting. Once confirmed, the badge flips to “Verified” (green checkmark).
- 5
Share forms on your domain
Once verified, any published form is reachable at https://yourdomain.com/{form-link}. Get the exact link for a given form from that form's own Settings/Share panel.
Frequently asked questions
- Can I connect more than one domain?
- No — one custom domain at a time. Disconnect the current one (trash icon, with a confirmation prompt) before adding a different domain; removing it immediately stops serving forms on that domain.
- Is this available on the Free plan?
- No, custom domains are Pro-only. Free accounts see an upgrade prompt in place of the domain field.
